Poncho → Terms of Use

Terms of Use

Effective 4 October 2026.

These terms apply when you use the Poncho Telegram bot (@poncholaunchbot) or this website. By using either, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Poncho.

1. Who we are

These terms are between you and Poncho ("we", "us"). You can reach us at [email protected], which is also the address for legal notices.

Poncho is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected with Robinhood Markets, Inc.

2. What Poncho is

Poncho is software that runs in Telegram. It creates and holds wallets for you on Robinhood Chain. With them you can launch tokens on the Pons launchpad, and buy, sell and move tokens by sending transactions you instruct.

Poncho does not give investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and nothing it shows you is a recommendation. It does not endorse any token, including tokens launched through it.

3. Who may use Poncho

By using Poncho, you confirm that all of the following are true, and you may use it only while they stay true:

  • you are at least 18 years old;
  • you are not a US person, meaning a citizen or resident of the United States, a company or other entity organised there, or anyone acting for one;
  • you are not in, and not ordinarily resident in, a country or region under Swiss, EU, UN or US sanctions, including North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria and the regions of Ukraine occupied by Russia;
  • you are not a person that sanctions laws prohibit us from dealing with;
  • using a service like Poncho is legal where you are.

We may limit access, approve users one by one, refuse anyone, and suspend or end any account, at any time, including where we must by law.

4. Your wallets and keys

When you create a wallet, Poncho generates its private key. When you import one, you give Poncho its private key. Either way, Poncho stores the key encrypted in its database and uses it to sign the transactions you instruct. You can export any key at any time while Poncho runs.

Your Telegram account is how Poncho knows you. Anyone who controls your Telegram account can use your Poncho wallets. You are responsible for protecting your Telegram account and any key you export.

Keep in Poncho only funds you are prepared to lose.

5. Transactions

Every transaction Poncho sends for you goes on a public blockchain and cannot be reversed by us or anyone else. You are responsible for checking the token, the amount and the address before you confirm. With 1-Tap Mode on, a tap sends the transaction without a confirm screen.

Quotes, prices and estimates are estimates. What you receive can differ, within the slippage you set. Poncho may refuse to send a transaction, for example when one of its checks fails, and a transaction can fail and still cost gas.

6. Fees

  • Trading: 1% on trades by default. The confirm screen shows Poncho's fee before you buy.
  • Launching: 0.001 ETH for each successful launch. A launch that fails is not charged.
  • Other costs: network gas, the Pons launch fee and each market's own fees are charged by others, on top.

If our fees change, the new fees will be published on this website before they apply. Fees already paid are not refunded.

7. Launching a token

If you launch a token, you are its issuer. You are responsible for its name, ticker, image, description and links, for anything you say about it, and for complying with the laws that apply to you and to anyone who buys it. You must not use a name, image or link that infringes someone else's rights or misleads people about who is behind the token.

A token's details are written to the chain and its image is stored on public IPFS. They are public and permanent, and Poncho cannot remove or change them.

8. Rules of use

You must not use Poncho:

  • for anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing or evading sanctions;
  • to manipulate markets or deceive other traders;
  • to attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer Poncho, or to get around its limits or checks;
  • with someone else's Telegram account or wallet without their permission.

9. Other services

Poncho depends on services it does not control. These include Telegram, Robinhood Chain, Pons, Uniswap and the other markets it trades on, and the providers that run its servers and connect it to the chain. Their own terms apply to you. We are not responsible for them, for their downtime, or for what their contracts do.

10. Availability and changes

Poncho is provided as is and as available. We do not promise that it will be available, fast, accurate or free of errors. We may change, suspend or stop Poncho, or any part of it, at any time. If Poncho stops, your exported private key is how you reach your funds; export it before you need it.

11. Risk

Using Poncho is risky, and you can lose everything you put in. The Risk disclosure is part of these terms. Read it before you use Poncho.

12. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind about Poncho, express or implied, including about its fitness for any purpose or the results of using it.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of funds, tokens, profits, data or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, arising from your use of Poncho or your inability to use it. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid to Poncho in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence.

14. Suspension and ending

You can stop using Poncho at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, including if you break these terms or if the law requires it. Before you stop, or if we tell you that your access will end, export your private keys and move your funds.

15. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date. If you keep using Poncho after a change, you accept the new terms.
